Q. My NVR is beeping after I start it up for the first time?
A. The NVR's hard drive needs to be formatted. You can do this directly on the NVR by going to Menu -> HDD -> check the hard drive and clicking "Init" at the bottom. The NVR will stop beeping after formatting.

Q. The plugin downloaded, but I still get a message that it's not installed?
A. Currently, the HikVision plugin is only supported by the following web browsers:
- Internet Explorer (Note: Microsoft Edge doesn't work!)
- Mozilla Firefox
- Safari on iOS (iMac)

Unfortunately, Google Chrome no longer supports the plugin!

Q. I added a new IP camera to my NVR, but nothing happens?
A. Your NVR's firmware is outdated and needs to be upgraded. You can download the latest firmware from the HikVision website.
