The Hikvision DS-7604NXI-K1 Network Video Recorder is a 4-channel Acusense recorder. Acusense is a technology that allows the recorder to recognize and record people and/or vehicles on all connected cameras. This reduces unnecessary recordings, such as recordings of blowing leaves. The recorder is equipped with an HDMI output for connecting to a TV or monitor, a network output for connecting to the network/APP, and a 1x SATA connection for a hard drive (not included as standard; select below). The recorder can record cameras connected to the network (PoE switch required).
Hikvision AcuSense NVR, a 4-channel IP camera up to 12MP, features human and vehicle classification for motion detection (MD2.0) on 4 channels, fast target search, and 1-channel facial recognition (video stream) or 2-channel facial recognition with photos.
This recorder with Acusense technology can apply Acusense technology to simple cameras. This can be useful for older Hikvision IP cameras and the newer Acusense, allowing people or vehicles to be identified for recording and/or push notifications. Regular recorders with simple cameras, for example, cannot distinguish moving trees from people or vehicles, resulting in a lot of dummy footage. It's therefore a very helpful technique that allows for targeted recording of people and/or vehicles.
