Hikvision DS-KAD706, 2-Wire Video/Audio Distributor
Note: This switch does not come with a 24-volt power supply as standard. A power adapter is available here , and a DIN-rail version is availablehere .
Only one outdoor station and multiple indoor stations can be connected to this power supply module.
Please note, this model cannot be combined with the "Y" models of the Hikvision intercom series.
DS-KAD706-S
The device features six 2-wire sockets for connecting monitors and external panels (power and signal transmission) and one Ethernet socket for connecting to a LAN network. One of the ports is also designed to power an extended door station with a maximum power of 16W. Furthermore, the switch is equipped with additional 2-wire socket outputs for cascading with the DS-KAD706-S.
You can also connect the switch to a LAN network, giving you access to port opening and the ability to record video intercom calls via a mobile app. When connecting a cascade of devices to a LAN network, we recommend connecting the DS-KAD706-S switch to the cascade.
Only CH6 is for an outdoor station module . The remaining channels are for indoor stations. For more information on the recommended cables, we recommend looking here .
