Description
The Hikvision DS-KD8003-IME1(B) is a modular KD8 Series door station designed to combine video intercom functionality with access control. This model is equipped with a 2 MP fisheye camera with additional infrared (IR) illumination, improving visibility in low-light conditions. Its wide field of view, with a horizontal angle of 146° and a vertical angle of 82°, provides extensive coverage of the area in front of the door.
The door station runs on an embedded Linux operating system and features 32 MB of ROM and 256 MB of RAM, powered by an embedded processor. This configuration underscores its ability to meet the demands of modern security and communication systems. The video compression standard used is H.264, which is effective in reducing file size while maintaining video quality.
For audio, the DS-KD8003-IME1(B) features a built-in omnidirectional microphone and speaker. It uses G.711 U and G.711 A audio compression standards, with a bit rate of 64 Kbps. It also includes noise suppression and echo cancellation features, ensuring clear audio communication.
The device has a user capacity of 2000 and supports up to 6000 cards, making it suitable for environments with a large number of users. It can be paired with up to 500 indoor stations and supports up to 16 sub-door stations.
The DS-KD8003-IME1(B) is designed for both flush-mount and surface mounting, offering installation flexibility. It has an IP65 rating, ensuring durability in outdoor environments. Its operating temperature range is -40°C to 60°C and it can operate in humidity conditions from 10% to 95%. Power supply options include 12VDC and PoE (IEEE 802.3af), and it consumes less than 5W.
