This Hikvision wireless PIR curtain detector can be mounted both inside and outside your home. It can be mounted vertically on a wall or horizontally on the ceiling.
The PIR curtain detector, model number DS-PDC10DM-EG2-WE , is a fully secure, two-way wireless detector with motion detection, tamper protection, low-battery monitoring, and connection monitoring. It can operate for up to 5 years with a built-in battery. It ignores animals up to 12 kg when wall-mounted, while recognizing humans from the first step.

The Hikvision PIR curtain detector, mounted on a wall, can monitor a 10-meter radius for motion within a 5-degree angle. This detector is therefore ideal for securing highly specific areas, such as along windows or doors. Ceiling-mounted, it can monitor motion up to 5 meters in all directions, also at a 5-degree angle.
Sensitivity can be adjusted via the Hik-Connect app on your smartphone. There are two settings: automatic and pet-friendly. The latter should be selected if there are cats or dogs in the area to be protected, or if the detector is installed outdoors in an area where cats are also frequently present.
Mounting height
The ideal mounting height for the PIR curtain detector is between 2 and 3.5 meters. If you mount the PIR curtain detector lower than the recommended height, it will be more likely to detect pets, and the detection distance will also decrease. All installation materials are included.
Register and assemble
All Hikvision products are easy to connect. You can register them using a QR code on each device. Do you have multiple detectors you want to register simultaneously? Use the handy "enroll" function so you don't have to scan a single QR code. Activate "Enroll," turn on the detector, and the connection is complete.
Mount the detector on a wall or ceiling and ensure that there are no vases, cabinets or glass objects blocking the line of sight.
Battery operated
Like all Hikvision products in the AX Pro alarm system, the detector is powered by CR123A batteries and is therefore completely wireless. This makes it easy to install anywhere without the need to run cables. The standard batteries have a lifespan of 5 years under normal use. After this time, they can be easily replaced with new ones for just a few euros.
The PIR curtain detector operates in temperatures between -10 and +55 degrees Celsius. Outside these temperatures, detection performance may decrease. Its dimensions are 29.2mm x 134.4mm x 39.5mm and it weighs 120 grams.
