Description

Jablotron JA-182SH Wireless tilt and shock detector
The Jablotron JA-182SH Wireless tilt and shock detector. Shocks from, for example, lifting doors, windows, etc. out of their frames, caused by intruders attempting to force, smash, drill, or saw through to gain access to your home (or property). The wireless tilt and shock detector has a simple installation procedure and uses digital signal processing. It has a memory of previous shocks.
The detector is part of the Jablotron 100 security system and has two configurable modes. The mode for detecting shocks/vibrations from doors, windows, etc. can be used to signal attempts at this type of violence by reporting a detection to your alarm system.
The tilt detection mode can be used to indicate unwanted tampering with the object to which the detector is securely attached. This could be because the burglar thinks they're clever and dismantles the detector. This can be used for safes, artwork, etc.
The detector uses a semiconductor triaxial accelerometer with a digital output. The signal processing guarantees high immunity to false alarms. The detector communicates wirelessly using the 100 protocol and is battery-powered.
