This smart small Nedis® smoke alarm ensures you can always feel safe, even when you're not at home. If smoke is detected, this device sends a notification to your smartphone and sounds a loud alarm. Simply connect the smoke alarm to your Wi-Fi and you'll be notified via the free Nedis® SmartLife app. Thanks to the app, you can immediately see which room your connected smart smoke alarm is sounding. This allows you to take targeted action in an emergency. Adding it in the app works as follows: Press the plus sign in the top right corner of the app. Select your Wi-Fi network (2.4 GHz). Press and hold the button on the front until the red light flashes. The smoke alarm will now be added.
Thanks to its compact size of only 76 x 76 x 28.5 mm, you can place the device anywhere in your home and make it unobtrusive, so that the device fits perfectly into the interior.
With the Nedis SmartLife app, the smoke alarm can be connected and combined with your other smart home products for added safety. When smoke is detected, you can, for example, control the lights to turn on, the shutters to open, or set up numerous other automations to make your home as safe as possible.
The smoke detector is powered by a lithium battery (CR123A), which has a long lifespan of up to approximately 3 years. When the battery is low, you'll receive a notification on your smartphone. This prevents annoying beeping sounds in the middle of the night.
