The Alecto SB28 fire blanket, measuring 120 x 180 cm, provides you with a ready-to-use tool for small, newly started fires. The fire blanket is made of fiberglass fabric, complies with the European standard EN 1869, and comes in a compact wall mount with a hanging loop and clearly marked pull loops.
Important safety advice: Do not use a fire blanket on a pan fire or a fire involving oil or grease. In such cases, if it is safe to do so, place a suitable lid over the pan, turn off the heat source, and never use water. If in doubt or if there is danger, call 112 immediately.

Using a fire blanket
- Pull the fire blanket out of the holder using the loops.
- Wrap the top edge around your hands to protect them from the heat as much as possible.
- Calmly and completely cover a small fire, or use the blanket to smother flames on clothing.
- Always ensure you have a safe escape route and call 112 if the fire is not immediately under control.
- Always replace the fire blanket after it has been used.
