Hikvision ColorVu Hybrid offers the freedom to choose or combine—3 functions in 1 camera.
This series of cameras is suitable for use as both day/night cameras and 24/7 color cameras. By combining ColorVu with IR technology, the camera is highly versatile. Thanks to the combination of the super aperture and the highly light-sensitive sensor, the camera performs exceptionally well in low-light conditions. You can choose between IR or visible white LED illumination.

This PTZ dome camera adds the ultimate in installation convenience. Once the camera is mounted, it can be fully adjusted using the app—rotating from left to right and zooming in or out slightly. All of this can be done remotely, without having to open the camera housing. Ideal for quick installation, as well as for mobile camera masts or situations where the camera is difficult to access.

  • Quick and easy installation: The camera comes with a base plate. This can be mounted, after which the dome can be clicked into place. Once the camera is installed, it can be fully adjusted using the app—rotating from left to right and zooming in or out. All of this can be done remotely, without having to open the camera housing.     • Day/Night camera: night mode with IR
    • ColorVu: 24-hour color imaging: Excellent color reproduction in low light and white LED illumination. Color images provide more information than black-and-white images
    • Smart Hybrid ColorVu: Night mode with IR, but switches to color extremely quickly upon detection by activating the white LED
  • Active deterrence with adjustable LED and/or audio alarm options: Detection zones in this camera can be used to trigger audio and/or a warning LED
  • AcuSense technology: For object classification based on an algorithm that enables the camera to distinguish between people, vehicles, or other objects

Points to Note:

  • Light from the dome can cause reflection issues: Hikvision therefore uses non-reflective material. It is important to lock the lens in place after aiming it. When locked, the lens presses firmly against the dome’s shell to minimize light spill as much as possible. It is also important to keep the dome cover as clean as possible for optimal image quality.  
  • The PTRZ function is specifically designed for adjusting the camera’s position: It is not intended for regular PTZ operation. For that purpose, it is better to choose a PTZ or speed dome camera
  • Mounting flush against the wall complicates PTRZ operation: PTRZ operation is designed with the assumption that the dome is hanging downward. The camera can also be mounted flush against the wall; however, this makes PTRZ operation significantly more complex
