Description
Hikvision DS-7608NI-M2/8P – 8-Channel 8K NVR with 8x PoE
The Hikvision DS-7608NI-M2/8P is a powerful 8-channel network video recorder (NVR) designed for professional IP camera surveillance. Thanks to its 8 built-in PoE ports, up to 8 compatible IP cameras can be connected directly to the recorder. The cameras receive both power and data via a single network cable, keeping the installation neat and simple.
The recorder supports camera resolutions of up to 32 megapixels and features an HDMI output with a maximum display resolution of 8K. With an incoming bandwidth of up to 128 Mbps, the DS-7608NI-M2/8P is suitable for high-end camera systems where image quality and reliability are paramount.
Efficient H.265+ Video Compression
The DS-7608NI-M2/8P supports H.265+, H.265, H.264+, and H.264 video compression. H.265+ ensures that camera footage is stored efficiently, requiring less storage space and bandwidth without unnecessarily compromising image quality.
Space for 2 hard drives
The recorder features 2 SATA ports for installing hard drives. This allows for ample storage capacity for continuous or event-triggered recording of camera footage.
8 built-in PoE ports
There are 8 independent PoE network ports (IEEE 802.3af/at) on the rear panel. This allows PoE cameras to be connected directly to the NVR. A separate PoE switch is therefore not necessary for a standard installation. The total available PoE power is up to 120 watts.
Smart Camera Features
When used with compatible Hikvision cameras, the NVR supports various intelligent features, including motion detection, line-crossing detection, and intrusion detection. Depending on the connected camera, features such as ANPR license plate recognition, heat mapping, and people counting can also be used.
Furthermore, via Hik-Connect, live footage and recorded camera footage can be easily viewed remotely via a smartphone, tablet, or computer.
