The Hikvision DS-KD8005-IME1 is the main module of the modular KD8 IP video intercom series. Thanks to its integrated 5-megapixel camera, high-quality audio, and rugged aluminum housing, this outdoor unit offers a professional access control solution for homes, apartments, and commercial buildings.
The module features a wide viewing angle of 134° horizontally and 82° vertically, ensuring that visitors are always clearly visible. The built-in microphone and speaker are equipped with noise cancellation and echo suppression for clear communication.
The DS-KD8005-IME1 is fully modular and can be expanded with various Hikvision KD8 modules, such as a keypad, card reader, information display, or nameplate module. This makes it easy to customize the intercom to the specific needs of any installation. The main module supports 0, 1, or 2 call buttons, making it suitable for both single-family homes and smaller multi-family dwellings.
Installation is simple thanks to Power over Ethernet (PoE), which allows both power and network connectivity to be delivered via a single UTP cable. The outdoor unit is also resistant to harsh weather conditions thanks to its IP65 rating and is vandal-resistant according to IK08. The intercom can be easily configured and managed remotely via the web interface.
