LightSwitch combines the reliability of professional security systems with a pleasant user experience. The Ajax smart switch features a large touch-sensitive panel that can be activated by touch or contactless: simply hold your hand within 15 mm of it. A soft backlight helps you in the dark. With LightSwitch, you can easily switch on lights, floor lamps, and curtains or blinds, even remotely. Neutral-free operation: LightSwitch only requires a live wire to operate. The switched device power ranges from 5 to 600 W. Contactless touch panel: LightSwitch activates when your hand is within 15 mm of the panel. Night light: Optional; can be disabled via the Ajax app settings.
LightSwitch can replace any mechanical or touch switch: the product line includes 1 switch, 2 switches and 2-way switches.
LightSwitch is installed without modifying the property's electrical wiring. The device doesn't require a neutral wire. A live wire is more than sufficient.
The switch operates in two modes: pulsed or bistable. LightSwitch can control lighting fixtures from 5 to 600 W. For low-wattage lamps, the kit includes a capacitor that must be connected in parallel with the lighting fixture.
LightSwitch has a backlight, making it visible in the dark. The device can even be installed next to a bed. The soft backlight won't disturb anyone. The backlight can be disabled in the Ajax app if needed.
