Q. My NVR beeps after I start it up for the first time?
A. The hard drive of the NVR needs to be formatted. You can do this directly on the NVR at Menu --> HDD --> check the hard drive and click on "Init" at the bottom. The NVR will stop beeping after formatting.

Q. The plugin has been downloaded, but I still get a message that it is not installed?
A. Currently, the HikVision Plugin is only supported by the following web browsers:
 - Internet Explorer (Note! Microsoft Edge does not work!)
 - Mozilla Firefox
 - Safari on iOS (iMac) 

Unfortunately, Google Chrome no longer supports the Plugin!

Q. I added a new IPCamera on my NVR, but nothing happens?
A. The firmware of your NVR is outdated and needs to be upgraded. You can download the latest firmware from the HikVision website.
