Service explanation for JA-110A
BUS internal siren
This product is part of the JABLOTRON JA-100 alarm system. It provides the display of an alarm indoors. Other sound indications are also possible. By pressing the siren the alarm can be extinguished or the emergency alarm can be called (functionality can be set). The siren is intended for installation by a trained technician with a valid Jablotron certificate.
Installation
The siren can be mounted directly on the wall or on an installation box for devices (without the bottom plastic part).
1. Remove the siren body from the frame - by prying into the vertical crack with a screwdriver (1.).
2. Remove the frame (3.) by pressing the clamps (2.).
3. Select a suitable passage and route the bus cable.
4. Screw the plastic back panel into place at the chosen location.
Before connecting the BUS, the system must be disconnected from the power supply.
5. Connect the bus cable.
6. Complete the siren configuration. Please note, the tamper sensor (7) must be above the magnet in the bottom plastic. If the siren is mounted on the installation box (without plastic bottom part), then move the magnet in the frame of the siren.
7. Follow the instructions for installing the central unit. Basic steps:
a. After switching on, the yellow signal light (1) flashes because the siren is not assigned to the system.
b. In the F-Link program, select the desired position on the Peripherals card and start the learning mode with the Read button.
8. Press the siren (top or bottom) – this will cause it to learn and the yellow light will go out.

Set properties
This is done by the F-Link program – card Peripherals. At siren position Use internal setting. A dialog appears, allowing settings to be made (* indicates the factory setting)
Section: this determines for which sections the siren will operate and possibly also signal entry/exit delay and arming. The acoustic signal is set at the factory for all sections.*
Response: this determines whether the siren will sound on signal IW* (warning inside) or EW (warning outside). The alarm sound can also be turned off completely (other functions are retained).
Siren sounds: with interruptions*, without interruptions
Limitation of howling duration: 1, 2, 3*, 4, 5 minutes.
Louder sound: YES / NO* - this only affects entry/exit delay signaling and the sounds when contacting PG outputs.
Beep sound when operating sections: YES / NO* - if enabled, the siren will beep 1x when armed, 2x when disarmed and 3x when disarmed after an alarm. Only for the set sections.
Beep sound at entry and exit delay: YES / NO* if enabled, signals the exit and entry delay of the set sections.
Sound from PG outputs:
An audio signal can be set for each PG output:
Sound 1 – slow beeping 1 x per second (as long as the PG is on)
Sound 2 – rapid beeping 2 x per second (as long as the PG is on)
Sound 3 - 1x beep when turning on the PG, 2x when turning off the PG
Sound 4 – long beep sound for 20 sec when switching on PG
Siren operation priorities:
The highest priority is for sounding the siren, a lower priority is for beeping during operation, the lowest is the activity of the PG outputs (PG1 higher than PG2, etc.). The higher priority sound always ends the lower priority sound.
System response to siren presses
The factory setting is that the siren switches off the sound when pressed during panic and also confirms that a person is present in the object (a report is sent). In the Peripheral equipment card of the F-Link program, the function of the siren push button can be changed to an emergency push button in the Response column. In that case, the system will respond with a silent alarm in the section in which the position of the siren is assigned.
If the system is operating in service mode, you can test the siren function by pressing and holding.
