The Hikvision DS-2CV2141G2-IDW displays images in a Full HD 2560x1440 resolution. The camera has a built-in automatic IR-cut filter, making it a real day/night camera. In dark conditions, the camera can switch on the built-in matrix IR lighting, which provides a razor-sharp image even in complete darkness (0 Lux). The IR lighting has a range of 30 meters. The camera has Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), which allows the camera to handle complex lighting conditions due to, for example, backlight from the sun or car headlights. The camera has a fixed lens of 2.8mm.

The Hikvision dome network camera DS-2CV2141G2-IDW for outdoor use features 1/2.7" Progressive Scan 4MP CMOS and has a built-in dual antenna 2.4G Wi-Fi, up to 120 m range in open space. This IP camera supports two-way audio Built-in micro SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot, up to 256 GB and EXIR, 30 m IR range.
