The Hikvision DS-7608NXI-K2 Network Video Recorder is an 8 channel Acusense recorder. Acusense is a technology that allows the recorder on all connected cameras to recognize and record people and/or vehicles. This reduces useless recordings, such as recordings of blowing leaves. The recorder is equipped with an HDMI output for connecting a TV or monitor, a network output for connection to the network/APP, 2x SATA connection for a hard disk (not included as standard, select below). IP cameras that are connected via the network can be recorded on this recorder. (via PoE switch)

Hikvision AcuSense NVR 8-channel IP camera up to 12MP, classification of people and vehicles for motion detection (MD2.0) on 8 channels, fast target search and 1-channel facial recognition. (video stream) or 4-channel on facial recognition with photos.

Use of Hikvision Acusense technology 

  • This recorder with Acusense technology can apply Acusense technology to simple cameras.

    This can be useful for older Hikvision IP cameras and the newer Acusense. So that persons or vehicles are recognized for recording and/or push messages. For example, normal recorders with simple cameras cannot distinguish moving trees from people or vehicles, which means that the recorder records many false recordings. It is therefore a very helpful technique that helps to make targeted recordings of people and/or vehicles.
