The Hikvision DS-7616NXI-I2/16P/S is an excellent NVR for recording and reviewing surveillance images from your IP cameras. The 16-channel recorder supports two 8TB hard drives and has 16 Power over Ethernet ports that can directly supply power to connected cameras.
16-channel video recorder with PoE
With the 16-channel Hikvision DS-7616NXI-I2/16P/4S you have an excellent video recorder (NVR) for storing, viewing live and reviewing your IP camera images. Connect the NVR to your network and connect up to 16 cameras from Hikvision or another camera brand to the system. All ports support Power over Ethernet (PoE) so that the connected cameras are directly supplied with power.
Ample storage capacity
The Hikvision DS-7616NXI-I2/16P/4S offers space for two hard drives of up to 8TB, so you can record hours of footage. In addition, the recorder applies H.265+ image compression, which means that the video files are reduced in size, but are stored without loss of quality.
View images live and afterwards
The camera images of the connected IP cameras can be viewed live via the Hikvision software or via the Hik-Connect app for Android and iOS. This way you can easily monitor remotely, also via your tablet or smartphone. But if something suspicious has happened, you want to be able to review the recordings. The Hikvision DS-7616NXI-I2/16P/4S therefore offers the option of viewing camera images from eight channels simultaneously.
Alarm notifications possible (AcuSense)
Hikvision cameras from the EasyIP 4.0 series are equipped with smart detection techniques such as line crossing and intrusion technology. For example, you can set your recorder to send you a push notification when someone crosses a set line or enters a certain zone. The Hikvision DS-7616NXI-I2/16P/4S also supports AcuSense on 4 channels, a smart technology from Hikvision that recognizes people and vehicles and minimizes the risk of false alarms.
