The DS-PDSMK-E-WE is a fully monitored two-way wireless optical smoke detector for the AX PRO system, with built-in siren and the smoke detector complies with EN14604 standards.

Optical smoke detectors, also called photoelectric smoke detectors, are less sensitive to false alarms than standard smoke detectors (ionization) and detect slowly smoldering fires that often produce a lot of smoke a little faster. This type of fire is usually caused by cladding materials or overheated wiring.

The detector can operate on battery power for up to 10 years.
