The Dahua NVR2108HS-8P-4KS3 is a compact, powerful network video recorder (NVR) from the WizSense series, ideal for surveillance solutions where you want to use IP cameras with smart functions and where simplicity of installation is important. Built-in PoE ports, AI capabilities, and high resolution support make it a suitable choice for retail stores, small businesses, offices, or homes.
With this recorder you connect up to 8 IP cameras via PoE (Power over Ethernet), which reduces cable work because power and data transmission run via one cable. The AI functions such as facial recognition, perimeter security (such as tripwire/intrusion) and advanced motion detection (“SMD Plus”) ensure that you can better monitor relevant events and receive fewer false alarms. Additionally, it supports high-resolution images — up to 12 MP — and efficient video compression to optimize storage and bandwidth usage.
Due to its size (1U compact), it fits easily in a rack or on a standard shelf, with a solid finish and cooling regulation (smart fan). The combination of modern functions, ease of use and solid technical specs make this NVR a strong basis for a reliable surveillance system.
