With this Nedis SmartLife 4MP Quad HD Wi-Fi Rechargeable IP Outdoor Camera you can see what's happening in your home, whether there's a threatening situation or you just want to feel completely safe. The camera comes with total flexibility thanks to the rechargeable battery and the ability to add an optional solar panel to suit your own needs.
The waterproof housing (IP66) protects the smart camera against water and can therefore be mounted on an exterior wall. The camera can be connected to your existing Wi-Fi network to monitor your home or garden and record any sound or movement, whether you are at home or on the road. The Nedis SmartLife app warns you in case of movement, so that you can intervene in time.
Battery operated
Once the camera is charged, you are ready to use it as a security camera. Depending on the number of shots, it can last up to 10 months on a single charge. On average, the battery lasts up to 2.5 months if it records 20 events per day. However, in combination with a solar panel, the battery is constantly charged when the sun shines and it is not necessary to turn off the wireless camera again.
Quad HD resolution
You can monitor and respond to everything you see in real time via the Nedis SmartLife app. The 120° field of view gives you a wide-angle field of view to keep an eye on your belongings. Thanks to the micro SD slot, you can store recordings on a micro SD card up to 128 GB (not included). It records in Quad HD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels) for full clarity of the captured images. There is also an option to store the video material in our app via a cloud solution (on a subscription basis).
Responds to movement
The camera responds to motion, so when someone passes the Wi-Fi camera within its 120-degree field of view, it will respond. Thanks to the AI Human Motion Detection, it analyzes the shapes of people, so you can set it to detect only people's movements, saving you unnecessary alarms. If you want, it will automatically start a recording and you will also receive a push notification on your smartphone. The notifications are displayed as pop-up messages on your smartphone without having to open the app. This means you are immediately informed and can respond very quickly. With the multi-user function, multiple people can even access the camera at the same time.
Night vision
The camera also sees clearly at night thanks to the color night vision function with a range of approximately 10.0 meters. The camera also has a bright white 45 lumen spotlight that lets you see key features like faces or license plates in color, even at night.
Two-way communication
The Wi-Fi camera is equipped with a microphone and speaker. The two-way audio communication works perfectly for talking to someone who is near the camera, so you can communicate even when you are away from home. The camera also supports an alarm and siren function to deter intruders.
Easy to set up
the Wi-Fi camera can be installed without a gateway and integrated directly into your wireless network. This simplifies installation and saves additional costs. The camera is powered by rechargeable batteries or can be charged with an optional solar panel. This means you can install the Wi-Fi camera anywhere, even if there is no electrical outlet nearby.
