Stand alone:This outdoor station can be used standalone as a video doorbell. However, it is not recommended to use the outdoor station as a SIP server when it is connected to the WiFi. The entire intercom system is connected to the SIP server. If the signal, available bandwidth or stability of the WiFi is not satisfactory, this will cause problems in the entire intercom system. IP65:The specifications indicate that this device is IP65. This concerns the front. The rear must be sealed for outdoor applications.  Outdoor installation:For outdoor installation, we recommend combining this product with the plastic VTM09R rain hood. This rain cover is made of plastic. Please note that this may deform slightly on a non-flat surface. This also needs to be sealed at the rear. Own audio files: An addition of the 4.5 firmware is the function to upload your own MP3 audio files. This way you can send a personal welcome text. Please note that this mp3 audio files may only be a maximum of 20kb. DMSS app with Push notifications: This outpost has an app. Check our FAQ for how to set this up:  DMSS with Push notifications for Dahua intercom Card reader: The outdoor station has a card reader suitable for Mifare. It is possible to add up to 10,000 users. SD card slot: The SD card slot in the VTO has no function yet.
